Educational Ministry
GAP Ministries Educational efforts have evolved to meet the local needs. We work with local congregations as requested. Here are a few of the educational opportunities provided for locals:
Pastoral Seminars: Jerry Carlisle and Alberto Reyes are two speakers who came in past years to offer preaching workshops for local pastors.
Workshops for Women: “Mujer Auténtica” sessions offered health advice from Dr. Donna Stauber with Scott and White in the central Texas area and spiritual inspiration from Indy Vorbrock of AMEN Ministries from the Houston area.
Adolfo, missionary in Guachochi, frequently offers marriage and family workshops in the Guachochi and canyon areas to new Christians and members alike.
Sugar Land Baptist Church in Texas has sent individuals to speak to nursing classes at the University of Chihuahua, under the direction of Dr. Irigoyen.
Educational scholarships are offered on a requested basis. Two nurses - Wendy, LVN (studying for her RN) and Nidia (studying for her LVN) are shown working with the Brigada Médica in the Clínica W.R. Parmer during the April 2025 Brigada Médica. These nurses work alongside Dr. Hugo Irigoyen in the clinics as they continue their studies.
