Upcoming Projects
Future Construction Project programmed for September 2025 at the Cienega Prieta Site to add Lodging Space with 12 more beds and adjoining bathrooms. Since this is the most remote site, this addition will provide lodging for volunteers from the US who go to serve in the Medical Clinics, for medical students from Chihuahua who go to learn during retreats, and local groups who volunteer from sister churches in Mexico. Central Baptist Italy and Sugar Land Baptist will go to complete the construction work.
June 2025 - An expansion of space was added to the Guachochi sanctuary, constructed in 2023. On the same lot, rests the missionary home, built in 2004, and until 2023, was the meeting place of the congregation. As the congregation has grown, there was a need to provide the 2023 and current spaces for Bible Study, worship, and necessary utilities.
June 2025 - Central Italy Baptist, Guachochi and Ciénega Prieta congregations joined for Sunday worship in the Guachochi sanctuary. They celebrated Father’s Day and enjoyed worship led by Missionary Pastor Adolfo, his wife, Beti, and the children’s program honoring fathers.
